Welcome to the Kerikeri Medical Centre Website.

Kerikeri Medical Centre is a rural general practice that has grown from a single handed practice prior to 1984 to a 7 doctor practice, 4.5 FTE (full time equivalents).

In April 2003 the Kerikeri Medical Centre doctors joined the Te Tai Tokerau Primary Health Organisation (PHO). The Te Tai Tokerau PHO is contracted to provide primary health services for a majority of practices in the Far North area and is the source of much of our patient funding.

In May 2005 our practice achieved Cornerstone Accreditation. The achievement of a Cornerstone accredited practice signifies a practice’s commitment to patients by meeting legal and safety standards and is a continuous quality improvement programme.
